Fixing up the Spitfire (car)
Whilst continuing to learn how to fly properly on the Skystar, I have spent time over the last couple of months building the Super 60. When i say building, I mean just that. It starts off as a box of strips of balsa & ends up as a 63 inch 'vintage' model aeroplane. It has been time consuming - but very satisfying. The first test flight should be in a couple of weeks.

The Kit is from Ben Buckle. They are really helpful - I was able to get on the spot building advice whenever I phoned up the number given in the instructions. You need a little patience to build one of these & it costs a little more than the almost ready to fly variation - but you can take real pride in the final result - you built it. They have an internet shop on E-bay and Al's Hobbies sells them.

The engine that i am using in this one is an OS FS 40 - this is one of the older OS four strokes. I have tested it & it starts like a dream - with a great noise - or purr I should say.   Can't wait to see how she flys!
